About Al Qibla Finder
Al Qibla Finder is a free web tool that helps Muslims face the Qibla anywhere in the world, without installing an app or giving up their privacy.
Why we built it
Finding the Qibla in a hotel room, an office or a new city should take seconds. Many Qibla apps are heavy, full of pop-ups, or ask for far more data than they need. We wanted a single, calm page that opens instantly, works on any phone and does one job well.
What makes it different
- The direction is calculated on your device and your location never leaves it.
- It keeps working offline after your first visit.
- Every page is fully translated into 17 languages, so you can read it in your own.
- Clear guidance tells you which way to turn, with optional vibration and sound.
- Ads never sit next to the compass or interrupt the tool.
Our principles
Accuracy first. We use the same great-circle method used by Islamic authorities and explain it openly on our How It Works page.
Respect for privacy. We collect nothing we do not need. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
Free for everyone. The site is supported by a small number of ads so it can stay free in every country.
A note on religious guidance
Al Qibla Finder is a tool for finding a direction, not a source of religious rulings. For questions about prayer, please follow the guidance of qualified scholars and your local mosque.
